VirtualLab Demo

How does it work?

The components of the virtual-laboratory are:

  • A web server. Of course this does not have to be located where the researchers are.

  • A relational database. This enables the research teams to store experimental designs and for the web server to collect results from respondents.

  • A control-panel. This is the principal design tool.

  • The experiments themselves.

You use the control panel to design new experiments, modify previous experiments or adapt experiments of others in the research team.  You set up tailor-made experiments with groups of respondents by giving them a URL that is specific to a particular experiment in the database. Then all that remains is for you to download the results straight from the database.
